Yay we have a garden now!
We moved last Saturday and the most exciting part after Tia’s own bedroom has to be our garden. It’s massive and outside and a garden!
It needs a lot of work and we need to buy everything to do it. See we moved from a top floor flat with no garden, so we don’t own a lawnmower or a shovel, I had to buy pegs for my washing line and we definitely need a shed to put it all in!
We have said we would like a shed in the bottom right corner, I also would like to finish the path that starts to lead up the garden then just ends. And of course, maybe more importantly then all if the above, we would like garden toys for Tia. This is her first garden, I would love for it to be special!
I’m massively in love with this wooden swing and slide set found here. With two swings, a seesaw glider and a 8 foot wavy slide this set will last Tia until she’s not interested in garden toys any more so I think, well worth the money. This playhouse would be perfect for my princess, she loves nothing more then pretend cooking and cleaning so this playhouse would give her hours of fun.
As you can see our garden is a really decent size. The rest of the money would be spent on a shed, a lawn mower and hedge trimmer, and all the garden tools ie spade, shovel and fork. I would like to build up flower beds along the right hand fence with lots of daffodils and rose bushes. I also would love a vegetable patch, this would be in the bottom left hand corner I think. It feels like the garden path slabs are buried under the mud and grass, but without tools we can’t look yet.
I will hang bird feeders on the tree and anything that grows under the tree from the seeds I shall let grow. I love the idea of having a small wild part of the garden for the bees and butterflies. I’m so looking forward to our new garden adventure and I’m hoping I can keep you all up to date with our developments.
